Rainey Qualley Western Movie This Bloody Country Gets Trailer & Release Date

Quiver Distribution has shared the official trailer for This Bloody Country, the upcoming Western drama led by singer-actress Rainey Qualley (Mighty Fine). The movie hails from Craig Packard and serves as his second feature-length directorial project.

When is the This Bloody Country release date?

This Blood Country will be available to rent or own on digital platforms starting on October 17, 2025. The movie stars Qualley as Abigail Ballard, Larry Cedar as Josiah Ballard, Martin Dingle Wall as Ned Campbell, Adam Hightower as Earl Mitchell, Jacob Ward as Nathaniel Ballard, Maggie Gwin as Lilith Ballard, Andrew Key as Mitch, Cameron Myer as Martha Ballard, and more.

“In 1869, a family leaves Salt Lake City on an arduous journey to establish a new outpost of their church. They cart all their belongings, leaving safety behind,” reads the movie’s official synopsis. “The terrain is rough and unforgiving. When an encounter with dangerous men turns violent, their attempt to flee proves futile. Left with no other choice, they must prepare to defend themselves from an expected attack. Their pursuers hold the advantage because a party of mostly women and children are no match for outlaws in the wild country… unless they are.”

Packard is directing and producing the movie from the a screenplay he wrote. It currently holds a total running time of 102 minutes or a hour and 32 minutes. Executive producers are Amy Brotherton, Brad Brotherton, Larry Greenberg, Denis Guz, Polina Mokshina, Andy McDonough, and TJ Smith.
