
Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale Digital, 4K, & Blu-ray Release Dates Set
Universal Pictures Home Entertainment has announced the Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale digital, 4K, and Blu-ray release dates for the third and final installment of the acclaimed period drama franchise. Since its theatrical debut on September 12, the movie has earned a worldwide gross of $77 million at the box office.
“This sensational motion picture finale brings 15 unforgettable years of heartfelt drama to a close and is the must-have story of the season,” reads the synopsis. “The cinematic return of the global phenomenon follows the Crawley family and their staff as they enter the 1930s. When Mary finds herself at the center of a public scandal and the family faces financial trouble, the entire household grapples with the threat of social disgrace. The Crawleys must embrace change as the staff prepares for a new chapter with the next generation leading Downton Abbey into the future.”
When is the Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale digital, 4K, & Blu-ray release dates?
Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale will be available to rent or own on digital platforms starting on Tuesday, September 30. It will then be followed by its 4K Ultra HD and Blu-ray on November 11, 2025. Since its debut, the film has received a Certified Fresh score of 92% on Rotten Tomatoes, making it the highest-rated installment of the franchise.
In addition, an exclusive Blu-ray set called Downton Abbey: The Ultimate Legacy Collection will also be available for purchase on November 11. It is housed within an elegant 52-page book, featuring a special foreword by series creator Julian Fellowes, behind-the-scenes photos, costume and set design sketches, and more. The collection also has 24 discs that include all 3 films, 6 TV seasons, and over 13 hours of bonus content.
