Lilo & Stitch Star’s Revenge Movie Violent Ends Gets Trailer

IFC has shared the official trailer for Violent Ends, the upcoming crime drama thriller led by Billy Magnussen (Road House, Lilo & Stitch). The movie will be arriving in theaters starting on October 31.

What happens in the Violent Ends trailer?

The video introduces Magnussen’s Lucas Frost, a man who wants to have a normal life by distancing himself from his family’s illegal activities. However, his dream of building a peaceful life with his fiancée gets upended with the arrival of his cousin, a dangerous individual who has just gotten out of prison. Following the murder of his fiancée, Lucas will do everything he can to get revenge against the people responsible, even if it means embracing his family’s violent legacy.

Violent Ends is written and directed by John-Michael Powell. Joining Magnussen are James Badge Dale, Kate Burton, Ray McKinnon, Nick Stahl, and Alexandra Shipp. The movie is produced by Undine Buka and Vincent Sieber, with Cathy Fegan-Kim and Alex Kim serving as executive producers. The creative team consists of director of photography Elijah Guess, editor Mark Gasparo, production designer Christian Snell, costume designer Kristen Kopp, and composer Anthony Willis.

“Set in the Ozark Mountains, Lucas Frost (Magnussen) is an honest man brought up in a crime family whose only legacy is violence,” reads the official synopsis. “As Lucas tries to make a peaceful life of his own with his fiancée, Emma (Shipp), he is suddenly pulled back into the family business when his cousin, Eli, perpetrates an armed robbery with brutal consequences.”
