The OC’s Mischa Barton Stars in Mystery Movie Murder at the Embassy Trailer

Lionsgate has shared the official trailer for Murder at the Embassy, the upcoming murder mystery sequel led by The O.C. alum Mischa Barton. The movie is scheduled to debut on November 14 in theaters and on digital platforms.

What happens in the Murder at the Embassy trailer?

The video teases the return of Barton as she reprises her role as private detective Miranda Green from the 2023 movie Invitation to a Murder. After successfully solving her latest murder case, the famous detective goes to Cairo, Egypt, to avoid the attention of the press. However, her vacation leads her to her next case, as she was hired to investigate a murder that happened at Cairo’s British embassy. The trailer highlights the sequel’s twists and turns, as Miranda tries to prevent a global conflict from happening.

Murder at the Embassy is directed by Stephen Shimek from a screenplay written by Mark Brennan. The movie also stars Mido Hamada, Kojo Attah, Nell Barlow, Raha Rahbari, Antonia Bernath, and Richard Dillane. It is executive-produced by Barry Brooker, Jerome Reygner-Kalfon, Sebastien Semon, and Stan Wertlieb. Producers are Sara Huxley, April Kelley, Brian Vilim, and Zeus Zamani.
