Marvel Studios has released a new deleted scene from The Fantastic Four: First Steps. It is part of the film’s upcoming digital and Blu-ray rollout. The “Fantastic Four Day” clip, shared exclusively with Rolling Stone, highlights Ben Grimm, also known as The Thing. He prepares for a television appearance by shaving his rocky beard with a power sander-like tool. The moment is both humorous and grounded. It shows the team backstage as they get ready for the fictional Ted Gilbert Show, a nod to the Ed Sullivan Show.

The Fantastic Four: First Steps will arrive on digital platforms, including Prime Video, Apple TV, and Fandango at Home, on September 23, 2025. The film’s physical release follows on October 14, 2025. It will be available on 4K UHD, Blu-ray, and DVD. Bonus features include five deleted scenes, a gag reel, audio commentary, and four featurettes. Fans can also purchase a SteelBook edition and a Walmart-exclusive pop-up Blu-ray.

The film stars Pedro Pascal as Reed Richards/Mister Fantastic, Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm/Invisible Woman, Joseph Quinn as Johnny Storm/Human Torch, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Ben Grimm/The Thing. Julia Garner plays Shalla-Bal/Silver Surfer. Ralph Ineson appears as Galactus, and Paul Walter Hauser portrays Harvey Elder/Mole Man.

Set in the 1960s, First Steps places Marvel’s “First Family” against the backdrop of the space race. The film stays faithful to the Silver Age era of the comics. The digital and physical editions also connect with the November release of Marvel Studios’ The Fantastic Four: First Steps – The Art of the Movie Deluxe Edition Slipcase. This hardcover will showcase concept art and production designs.
