Dakota Fanning & The Strangers Creator’s Horror Movie Gets Vicious Trailer

Paramount+ has released the official trailer for Vicious, the upcoming horror thriller led by Golden Globe Award nominee Dakota Fanning. The movie is scheduled to debut on October 10 on Paramount+ and on digital platforms.

What happens in the Vicious trailer?

The video features Dakota Fanning as a young woman who suddenly gets trapped in a mind-bending nightmare after a mysterious old woman gives her a box where she must put three things it demands inside. Failure to comply with the woman’s instructions leads to her death. As she tries to escape her fate, she’ll encounter different kinds of horrors, including witnessing her neighbor killing herself.

Vicious is written and directed by Bryan Bertino, who’s best known for creating The Strangers franchise. Fanning is no stranger to the horror genre. She most recently starred in Ishana Night Shyamalan’s The Watchers movie. Joining Fanning are Kathryn Hunter, Mary McCormack, Rachel Blanchard, Devyn Nekoda, Klea Scott, and Emily Mitchell. The movie is executive-produced by Melinda Whitaker and Shane Boucher, with Bertino and Richard Suckle serving as producers.
