When is the release date for The War Between?

The War Between will arrive in theaters in Arizona on September 26, followed by its digital release on November 25. In addition, the movie will also screen at the Tallgrass Film Festival in October as an Official Selection.

Correa directed the movie from a screenplay written by Ron Yungul, who also serves as the producer. The cast includes Damian Conrad-Davis, Sam Bullington, Wayne Charles Baker, Essa O’Shea, Robert Peters, Tank Jones, and more. The creative team consists of cinematographer Evan Jake Cohen, editor Chris Bradley, and composer Dennis Dreith.

“Set in April 1862 during the opening months of the American Civil War in the Arizona Territory and inspired by the historic Battle of Picacho Peak, the westernmost battle of the war, the story follows two enemy soldiers, one Union and one Confederate, who find themselves stranded in the unforgiving Sonoran Desert,” reads the official synopsis. “Forced to rely on one another to survive while contending with thirst, memory loss, and the threat of hostile terrain, their uneasy alliance deepens when they encounter a Chiricahua Apache, further challenging their beliefs and prejudices. Blending the grit and atmosphere of a Western with the urgency of a wartime drama, the film explores themes of identity, survival, and reconciliation that resonate far beyond its historical setting.”
