Diane Lane, Kyle Chandler, & Dylan O’Brien Star in Anniversary Trailer

Lionsgate has shared the official Anniversary trailer for the upcoming family thriller drama, which hails from Corpus Christi filmmaker Jan Komasa. The movie is scheduled to make its debut in theaters on October 29.

“In the film, a close-knit family is caught in the turmoil of a controversial rising movement known as ‘The Change.’ Ellen and Paul witness their lives fall apart when Ellen’s former student Liz reappears and starts dating their son,” reads the movie’s official synopsis. “As Liz becomes a part of the Taylor family, tensions rise and loyalties are tested. Liz’s role in ‘The Change’ brings simmering conflicts to the surface, unraveling the fabric of the family just as the nation itself stands on edge during an alarming and challenging time of uncertainty.”

Who is in the Anniversary trailer?

The video introduces its star-studded ensemble cast led by Diane Lane as Ellen, Kyle Chandler as Paul, Dylan O’Brien as Josh, Mckenna Grace as Birdie, Madeline Brewer as Anna, Zoey Deutch as Cynthia, and Phoebe Dynevor as Liz. Additional cast members include Daryl McCormack, Flavia Watson, Maya O’Shea, Jolly Abraham, Selda Kaya, Paul Tylak, and more.

Anniversary is directed by Komasa from a screenplay written by Lori Rosene-Gambino, based on a story by Komasa and Rosene-Gambino. This marks Komasa’s first English-language movie, following the critical success of 2019’s Corpus Christi which received an Oscar nomination for Best International Feature. The movie is executive produced by Morgan O’Sullivan, Rosene-Gambino, Peter Oberth, and Stacia Warren, with Kate Churchill, Paula Mae Schwartz, Steve Schwartz, and Nick Wechsler serving as producers.
