Spider-Man: Brand New Day Set Photos Show Heartbreaking Scene

Spider-Man 4 set photos continue to make their way online as the next entry in the franchise films, and recent photos show off what looks to be an emotional moment in the MCU film.

What is shown in the Spider-Man: Brand New Day set photos?

The latest photos show Tom Holland and Zendaya filming in a cemetery. Not only is the pair being together interesting given the events of the end of Spider-Man: No Way Home, but fans also spotted a tombstone made for May Parker (Marisa Tomei), indicating the pair are visiting her grave.

While the scene will no doubt be emotional in the movie, it also sent fans theorizing as to what it means. At the end of No Way Home, Zendaya’s MJ and Jacob Batalon’s Ned had their memories of Peter erased after Peter chose to have himself erased from everyone’s memories in order to protect the multiverse.

Whether or not MJ remembers Peter or if the two are simply reuniting as strangers will have to wait to be seen. In the meantime, check out the set photos for Spider-Man: Brand New Day below:

Spider-Man: Brand New Day is being directed by Destin Daniel Cretton from a screenplay written by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers. The movie will once again be led by Tom Holland as he reprises his role as Peter Parker/Spider-Man. Emmy winner Zendaya and Jacob Batalo are also expected to return for the sequel.
