
Intense Horror Movie Traumatika Gets Official Trailer
Saban Films has released the full Traumatika trailer for the upcoming supernatural thriller about a mother getting possesed by a demon who preys on children. After premiering at last year’s FrightFest, the horror movie is now slated to arrive in U.S theaters on September 12, 2025.
“A young boy’s night terrors become reality when his mother begins showing signs of demonic possession. What he’s about to experience will haunt him for the rest of his life and claim countless lives across generations,” reads the movie’s official synopsis.

Who is in the Traumatika trailer?
The trailer introduces the movie’s cast, including Rebekah Kennedy as Abigail, Emily Goss as Alice, Ranen Navat as Mikey, AJ Bowen as Sheriff Miller, Sean O’Bryan as John Reed, Susan Gayle Watts, and Sean Whalen as Steve. The video also continues to warn the audience about the film’s intense nature, teasing what to expect from the movie.
Traumatika is directed and produced by Pierre Tsigaridis, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Maxime Rançon. The horror movie is executive produced by Rancon and Jean-Pierre Morreale. In addition, Tsigaridis also serves as its cinematographer and editor, with Gioacchino Marincola set as the composer.
“Traumatika is not a movie you see – it’s a movie you experience. And there’s no better way to experience it than on the big screen,” Saban co-presidents Jonathan Saba and Shanan Becker said in a previous statement after the company acquired the movie’s North American distribution rights (via Variety). “It’s hard to prepare yourself for the highly disturbing film that Pierre and Maxime have created. They are truly mad genius storytellers… consider yourself warned.”
