IMAX Rock Climbing Movie Girl Climber Gets Trailer, Release Date | Exclusive

ComingSoon is debuting the exclusive Girl Climber trailer for IMAX and Red Bull Studios’ upcoming sports documentary about professional rock climber Emily Harrington’s attempt to climb Yosemite’s El Capitan. Besides Harrington, the movie will also feature appearances from Alex Honnold and Adrian Ballinger.

The documentary is directed by Jon Glassberg. It is produced by Tyler Young and Philipp Manderla, with Jessica Glassberg serving as an associate producer. Executive producers are Jennifer Peedom, Georg Aschauer, Galen Knowles, and Sebastian Burkhardt.

When is the IMAX release date for the Girl Climber movie?

For one night only, Girl Climber is scheduled to arrive in IMAX theaters across North America on Sunday, August 24. Afterward, it is also set to a have theatrical release, and will also be available on Jolt soon.
