AI Turns Spider-Man: Brand New Day BTS Footage Into Full Movie Scene
Marvel fans are responding to an AI video of a tank chase scene featuring Spider-Man and the Hulk. This comes after set videos of what appears to be a chase sequence involving a tank surfaced from the Glasgow set of Spider-Man 4, AKA Brand New Day.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day set videos lead to an AI movie scene
An AI video has been circulating online that depicts a chase scene with a tank, Spider-Man, and the Hulk.
One fan, @KingSpyke_, shared the video on X (formerly Twitter). “Ayo someone tried to create the tank scene from the set of #Spidermanbrandnewday. Idk if this is A.I but it’s dope tbh,” they wrote in the caption. “Hulk is a little off lol.”
Despite the fan’s doubts, it’s safe to assume that the video was indeed created with AI. Another user, @Culture3ase, shared in the caption of the same video, “Someone recreated the Spider-Man: Brand New Day film set from Glasgow using AI #SpiderManBrandNewDay.”
Notably, Brand New Day is the upcoming fourth Spider-Man feature set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The cast includes Tom Holland as Peter Parker / Spider-Man, Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle / Punisher, Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner / Hulk, and Michael Mando as Mac Gargan / Scorpion.
Fans call Spider-Man’s AI tank chase trash
The aforementioned video has garnered mixed reactions from fans. While some praised it, others had reservations, including about the fact that it was made with AI.
@fellowdelegates wrote in the comment section of @Culture3ase’s post, “It’s pretty good, but it looks more like a storyboard and not refined enough to be comparable to finished cinema. I’d watch this same thing polished up though.”
Meanwhile, @gamecentric_io claimed that the clip “looks insanely accurate” in the same comment section. Moreover, @TPCQ2024 commented that the video seemed “pretty cool.”
As mentioned above, the video also garnered a lot of criticism, with many comparing it to “trash.” @M_Angel17_XOXO wrote under @KingSpyke’s post, “It’s AI and you can tell by how trash it is.”
Spider-Man: Brand New Day comes out in US theaters on July 31, 2026.
