ComingSoon is debuting an exclusive Reset trailer, previewing the upcoming sci-fi horror movie about a father trying to save his daughter from an otherworldly force. It is set to release on August 12, 2025, and will be available on digital and on-demand.

“A broken father is thrust into a nightmare when his daughter is taken by an otherworldly force,” reads the film’s official synopsis. “As he navigates a surreal and terrifying dimension, he must confront a monstrous entity and survive a looping cycle of torment. With time working against him, the cost of salvation may demand everything he has left.”

What happens in the Reset trailer

The Reset trailer follows the story of a father whose daughter is taken by a mysterious force. After navigating through a terrifying dimension, he must confront a monstrous entity to save her.

Reset is directed by Michael Yammine, who also serves as a writer and producer on the project. The film stars Adam Holley, Caitlin Westfall, Tim O’Hearn, Reese Ravencraft, and Lorelai Brown. Reset made its world premiere at the Amazing Fantasy Fest and won five awards, including Best Feature, Best Editing, and Best Horror Cinematography.
