Adam Sandler & George Clooney Traverse Europe in Netflix’s Jay Kelly Teaser Trailer
The first teaser trailer for Netflix’s Jay Kelly has been released.
Jay Kelly is a new comedy-drama movie directed and co-written by Noah Baumbach. Arriving later this year, the movie stars George Clooney, Adam Sandler, Laura Dern, and more.

What happens in the Jay Kelly teaser trailer?
The Jay Kelly teaser trailer sees Clooney play the titular character, who is a famous movie actor, while Sandler plays his “devoted manager,” Ron. Together, the two of them “embark on a whirlwind and unexpectedly profound journey” as they traverse across Europe.
“Along the way, both men are forced to confront the choices they’ve made, the relationships with their loved ones, and the legacies they’ll leave behind,” the synopsis continues, per Netflix Tudum.
The cast of Jay Kelly also includes Billy Crudup, Riley Keough, Grace Edwards, Stacy Keach, Jim Broadbent, Patrick Wilson, Eve Hewson, Greta Gerwig, Alba Rohrwacher, Josh Hamilton, Lenny Henry, Emily Mortimer, Nicôle Lecky, Thaddeus Graham, Isla Fisher, Louis Partridge, and Charlie Rowe.
Mortimer co-wrote the script with Baumbach, while David Heyman and Amy Pascal both produce the film.
Baumbach made his feature film directorial debut in 1995 with Kicking and Screaming. He then went on to direct titles such as 2002’s Highball, 2005’s The Squid and the Whale, 2007’s Margot at the Wedding, 2010’s Greenberg, 2012’s Frances Ha, 2014’s While We’re Young, 2015’s Mistress America, 2017’s The Meyerowitz Stories, 2019’s Marriage Story, and 2022’s White Noise, among others. He’s also worked on the scripts for films such as 2004’s The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou, 2009’s Fantastic Mr. Fox, 2012’s Madagascar 3: Europe’s Most Wanted, and 2023’s Barbie.
Jay Kelly will be released in select movie theaters in the United States on November 14, 2025. It will then begin streaming on Netflix on December 5, 2025.
