Tom Holland’s Spider-Man: Brand New Day Suit & Mask Get Best Look

A new leak offers the best look yet at Tom Holland’s Spider-Man suit and mask in Brand New Day, revealing key design details from the upcoming MCU film. Set photos and videos offer a closer glimpse at the updated costume during what seems to be a major scene in the upcoming film.

Tom Holland’s Spider-Man suit in Brand New Day gets another look

The images and videos, shared by sources including @UnBoxPHD and @jamieg1510, show Holland in full costume on top of a tank, filming scenes in Glasgow, Scotland. The design features a red-and-blue pattern with raised webbing and a non-metallic blue, closely resembling the final swing suit from Spider-Man: No Way Home.

The updated mask showcases a Steve Ditko/John Romita Sr.-inspired design, with larger expressive lenses. The back logo is identical to the one seen at the end of No Way Home. This version does not include Stark Tech, but the moving lenses remain intact. It seems the suit combines visual elements from all three live-action Spider-Men: Maguire, Garfield, and Holland, making it the most comic-accurate costume in the MCU to date.

Videos from the set feature Holland rehearsing a stunt where Spider-Man jumps onto a tank, with speculation pointing to Frank Castle, aka The Punisher, being inside. According to a rumored synopsis, Spider-Man: Brand New Day follows Peter Parker living anonymously as Spider-Man until a new threat tied to Mister Negative forces him back into action. He clashes with The Punisher and Hulk before teaming up to face a larger enemy.

The film takes a darker, more emotional turn, with director Destin Daniel Cretton calling it “an emotional story and a ride that we haven’t really seen before.” (via ComicBookMovie)

An armored vehicle reportedly carries Mac Gargan, also known as The Scorpion, while Frank Castle pursues it. Michael Mando has teased his return as Gargan. Filmmakers began shooting recently and plan to include characters like Mister Negative, Jackpot, Menace, and a possible team-up between The Punisher and Savage Hulk.

Destin Daniel Cretton directs Spider-Man: Brand New Day, starring Tom Holland, Jon Bernthal, Mark Ruffalo, Sadie Sink, and Michael Mando. The film will release on July 31, 2026.
