Jake Schreier takes his pick between Thunderbolts*’ Sentry and Superman
Director Jake Schreier recently had a conversation with the YouTube channel Who Let Us Out, where he weighed in on Thunderbolts* and the X-Men reboot. During this conversation, Schreier was asked about his views on the Sentry vs Superman debate regarding who is stronger.
In reply to this question, Schreier went with a vague answer and said, “I guess I would just say it’s just that Kryptonite is different, you know, that’s what I would say. I think that’s what makes Bob so interesting.”
Previously, Lewis Pullman talked to Comicbook.com and shared his views on whether Sentry could beat Superman, The Invincible’s Omni-Man, and The Boys’ Homelander in a fight. He told the outlet, “Against Superman, Homelander, and Omni Man? Jeez, you know, I think he would have to tap out for some therapy.
He continued, “I think he feels like he has some impostors that to be like, sorry, can we pause this for one second? I’m just gonna call my guy.” Furthermore, Pullman said that fans need to “give him (Sentry) a couple of years.”
Speaking about Sentry returning in Avengers: Doomsday, Pullman told Men’s Health, “The Thunderbolts* don’t want to let him out of their sight, because they realize that if he’s caught in the wrong hands, or if he’s not being supported enough by the right people, he might be dangerous. But they also want to keep him close in case they can figure out a way to use him. He’s a very good asset.”
