Zoe Deutch, Jonah Hauer-King, and Ruby Cruz Have a Threesome in New Trailer

Vertical has released the official trailer for The Threesome, a new romantic comedy starring Zoey Deutch, Jonah Hauer-King, and Ruby Cruz.

“One fateful night, the stars appear to align for the unassuming Connor (Jonah Hauer-King) as his long-time crush, the irreverent Olivia (Zoey Deutch), steers them into a threesome with an alluring stranger named Jenny (Ruby Cruz),” reads the film’s official synopsis. “The unexpected encounter leads to romance and pregnancy, thrusting all three into a difficult and messy journey towards true accountability and adulthood.”

What happens in The Threesome trailer?

The Threesome trailer follows the story between a man (Hauer-King) and his longtime crush (Deutch), who leads him into a threesome with a stranger (Cruz). The upcoming rom-com is set to release in theaters on September 5, 2025.

Tim White, Trevor White, Vince Jolivette, and Steve Shapiro are all attached to the project as producers. The film is directed by Chad Hartigan from a script written by Ethan Ogilby.

Alongside Deutch, Hauer-King, and Cruz, The Threesome also stars Jaboukie Young-White, Josh Segarra, Robert Longstreet, Arden Myrin, Kristin Slaysman, Allan McLeod, and Julia Sweeney. The Threesome recently had its debut at SXSW 2025.
