Pedro Pascal Has Hilarious Response to Alan Cumming’s Avengers: Doomsday Leak

Mister Fantastic actor Pedro Pascal jokingly called out X-Men vet Alan Cumming for previously leaking a plot detail from Avengers: Doomsday. This comes ahead of The Fantastic Four: First Steps‘ U.S. theatrical release this Friday, July 25.

What did Pedro Pascal say about Alan Cumming’s Avengers: Doomsday leak?

Last night, The Fantastic Four: First Steps cast visited Jimmy Kimmel Live!, with Cumming serving as the talk show’s latest guest host. During the episode, Cumming asked Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Joseph Quinn, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach if it has been difficult for them to keep Marvel secrets. The Last of Us star hilariously returned the question to him, as he reminded the Nightcrawler actor about his recent incident with spoiling Avengers: Doomsday details.

“It’s funny that you should ask,” Pascal joked. “The biggest leak that we’ve had comes from our host.”

Last May, Cumming accidentally hinted fans about his character Nightcrawler’s fight scene with Reed Richards/Mister Fantastic in Avengers: Doomsday. Because of this, Pascal and the rest of The Fantastic Four cast were curious if the British actor got in trouble with Marvel Studios for the leak.

“My publicist called me,” Cumming admitted that he was indeed reprimanded about it. “You know the wrath of your publicist is, not the wrath you want to have.” He then went on to turn the tables on Pascal by asking him if Mister Fantastic and the Nightcrawler would indeed fight in the next Avengers movie, leaving The Mandalorian star unable to respond immediately. In the end, both of them just hilariously denied Cumming’s previous spoiler.

Avengers: Doomsday is being directed by Avengers: Endgame filmmakers Joe and Anthony Russo from a screenplay written by Stephen McFeely. The latest installment will feature Oscar winner Robert Downey Jr. as he signs on for the role of Victor von Doom/Doctor Doom. The ensemble cast will also include Chris Hemsworth, Paul Rudd, Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie, Florence Pugh, Letitia Wright, Tenoch Huerta Mejia, Kelsey Grammer, Lewis Pullman, David Harbour, Wyatt Russell, and Danny Ramirez. The fifth installment will also feature the return of X-Men stars Patrick Stewart as Charles Xavier, Ian McKellen‘s Magneto, Rebecca Romijn‘s Mystique, James Marsden‘s Cyclops, and Channing Tatum‘s Gambit.
