The Fantastic Four’s Joseph Quinn Teases Exciting Team-Up We Could See in Future MCU Movie

Ahead of The Fantastic Four: First Steps‘ U.S. debut, Joseph Quinn has revealed which fan-favorite actor from the Marvel Cinematic Universe he would like to work with in future projects. In the upcoming superhero movie, Quinn is set to make his MCU debut as Johnny Storm/Human Torch, a character formerly played by Chris Evans and Michael B. Jordan in Fox’s two Fantastic Four movies.

What did Joseph Quinn say about his MCU future?

In the comics, Johnny Storm is also best known for his close friendship with Spider-Man. Marvel fans got a first glimpse of this duo’s bond in 1963’s Amazing Spider-Man, where Johnny initially wasn’t impressed with the friendly neighborhood superhero. However, throughout the years, they were able to build up a strong friendship.

Speaking with THR, when asked about the possibility of fans seeing Human Torch and Spider-Man together in live-action, the Stranger Things star expressed how much he likes that idea by praising Tom Holland‘s performance as Peter Parker/Spider-Man.

“That pairing makes sense to me and I think he’s brilliant and I’m up for it,” Quinn said. “I think we’d have a laugh. I’ve never met Tom and I think he’s brilliant; his Peter Parker is the best one ever, I think he’s our best-ever Spider-Man, so why not? Let’s do it, get it moving.”

The Fantastic Four: First Steps is directed by Matt Shakman, who previously helmed all nine episodes of the WandaVision miniseries. The movie is also led by Pedro Pascal as Reed Richards/Mister Fantastic, Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm/The Invisible Woman, Joseph Quinn as Johnny Storm/ Human Torch, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Ben Grimm/The Thing. Additional cast members include Julia Garner (Ozark) as the Silver Surfer, Ralph Ineson (Harry Potter) as Galactus, Natasha Lyonne (Poker Face), and Paul Walter Hauser (Black Bird).

The movie is expected to arrive in U.S. theaters this Friday, July 25.
