Superman’s David Corenswet Teases DCU Love Triangle
Superman‘s David Corenswet recently opened up about a potential love triangle he’d love to see explored in the DCU.
What did David Corenswet say about which love triangle he’d like to see in the DCU?
Speaking to ComicBook in a recent interview alongside Rachel Brosnahan and Nicholas Hoult, Corenswet was asked who he’d love to share the screen with in the DCU. Corenswet said that the duo of Superman and Wonder Woman is something that interests him, before joking about a potential love triangle.
Brosnahan (who plays Lois Lane) was quick to say “Lois would have a lot to say about that,” while Hoult jokingly interjected and said he doesn’t think he could be a part of that. The concept of Superman and Wonder Woman being in a relationship is not a brand new one, and has been explored occasionally in the comics. However, it has yet to happen in any live-action film.
“Superman, DC Studios’ first feature film to hit the big screen, is set to soar into theaters worldwide this summer from Warner Bros. Pictures,” the official synopsis reads. “In his signature style, James Gunn takes on the original superhero in the newly imagined DC universe with a singular blend of epic action, humor and heart, delivering a Superman who’s driven by compassion and an inherent belief in the goodness of humankind.”
Along with David Corenswet and Rachel Brosnahan, Superman stars Isabela Merced as Hawkgirl, Edi Gathegi as Mister Terrific, Nathan Fillion as Guy Gardner, Anthony Carrigan as Metamorpho, María Gabriela de Faría as The Engineer, Sara Sampaio as Eve Teschmacher, Skyler Gisondo as Jimmy Olsen, Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor, Terence Rosemore as Otis, Wendell Pierce as Perry White, Pruitt Taylor Vince as Jonathan Kent, Neva Howell as Martha Kent, Beck Bennett as Steve Lombard, Mikaela Hoover as Cat Grant, and Christopher McDonald as Ron Troupe.
Superman is set to premiere in theaters on July 11, 2025.
