Samara Weaving Heist Movie Eenie Meanie Gets First Photos

Samara Weaving gets behind the wheel in the first look photos for Eenie Meanie, an upcoming heist thriller written and directed by Shawn Simmons. 

Serving as the Wayne creator’s feature directorial debut, the new heist thriller hails from the 20th Century. In addition to Weaving, Eenie Meanie also stars Karl Glusman (The Neon Demon, Love), Steve Zahn (A Perfect Getaway, The White Lotus), Andy Garcia (The Godfather Part III, Father of the Bride), Randall Park (WandaVision, Fresh Off the Boat), Marshawn Lynch (Bottoms, Love Hurts), Mike O’Malley (Glee), and Jermaine Fowler (The Blackening, Ricky Stanicky). 

What is Samara Weaving’s Eenie Meanie about?

Weaving plays Edie in Eenie Meanie, a former getaway driver who is forced to confront her past when her old boss (played by Garcia) offers her a chance she cannot decline: a chance to save her ex-boyfriend (Glusman). 

“The film follows a former teenage getaway driver who is dragged back into her unsavory past when a former employer offers her a chance to save the life of her chronically unreliable ex-boyfriend,” the synopsis reads.

Although Weaving made a name for herself in the horror world, she is also no stranger to the action genre. She’s starred in a couple of action flicks, including the action comedy horror Mayhem, the action comedy Guns Akimbo, and the superhero movie Snake Eyes. Hailed as one of the modern scream queens, the actress is best known for her performance in 2019’s Ready or Not. The sequel, titled Ready or Not 2: Here I Come, will hit theaters on April 10, 2026.

Weaving’s other horror credits include Ash vs Evil Dead, The Babysitter, The Babysitter: Killer Queen, Scream VI, Azrael, and Borderline.
