Avengers: Doomsday Rumor Teases Gorr’s Daughter’s Role After Thor: Love & Thunder
The latest rumor about the unannounced additional cast members of 2026’s Avengers: Doomsday suggests that Love, Gorr’s daughter from Thor: Love and Thunder, may return in the film. According to recent speculations, Love, portrayed by Chris Hemsworth’s daughter in real life, will play a significant role in the much-awaited Avengers sequel.
Thor’s adopted daughter Love could return in Avengers: Doomsday
In Cosmic Circus’ June Discord Q&A session, renowned scooper Alex Perez hinted at the return of Gorr’s daughter in Avengers: Doomsday, noting that she would be crucial in furthering Thor’s arc in the movie.
Talking about Thor’s whereabouts in Avengers: Doomsday, Perez said that he would be seen “raising Gorr’s daughter.” He then added that Love would be “the one who will alert Thor of the incoming battle, since she’s connected to the cosmic being Eternity, who is being threatened by the current situation.”
Making her debut in 2022’s Thor: Love and Thunder, Love played a pivotal role in driving the plot of the film forward. After Christian Bale’s Gorr sacrifices himself to wish for his daughter’s revival by Eternity, Thor decides to take the little girl under his wing and teach her how to fight like a hero. Moreover, the movie ends with the duo embarking on a mission together, with Love even wielding her adoptive father’s iconic weapon, Stormbreaker.
While Perez’s comments suggest that Love will once again accompany Thor in Avengers: Doomsday, Marvel Studios has yet to share any details regarding the pair’s whereabouts since the 2022 film. Moreover, it remains to be seen if Chris Hemsworth’s real-life daughter, India Rose Hemsworth, will reprise her role, if Love ends up making an appearance in Avengers 5.
After a delay to its release date, Avengers: Doomsday is now on track to hit theaters on December 18, 2026.
