
Return to Silent Hill & Silent Night, Deadly Night Get Release Dates
Cineverse has announced the release dates for Return to Silent Hill and Silent Night, Deadly Night.
Cineverse and Bloody Disgusting, the company’s horror division, will team with Iconic Events Releasing to give both movies theatrical releases.

Per Deadline, Silent Night, Deadly Night opens in theaters on December 12, 2025. Return to Silent Hill arrives one month prior on January 23, 2026.
Silent Night, Deadly Night is a reboot of the 1984 movie of the same name. The film stars Rohan Campbell as Billy Chapman, a boy who witnessed the murders of his parents by a man in a Santa Claus suit. After years of emotional abuse and trauma, Billy puts on the Santa suit as a teenager and embarks on a killing spree of his own.
Ruby Modine stars as Pamela. Mark Acheson, David Lawrence Brown, and David Tomlinson also star.
Mike P. Nelson (V/H/S/85) writes and directs Silent Night, Deadly Night. Scott Schneid and Dennis Whitehead, who produced the 1984 film, will produce alongside Jamie R. Thompson, Erik Bernard, and Jeremy Torrie.
Return to Silent Hill is the third installment in the horror franchise based on Konami’s video game series. The film stars Jeremy Irvine as James, a man broken after the end of his relationship with the love of his life, Mary, played by Hannah Emily Anderson.
“When a mysterious letter from her calls him back to Silent Hill, he finds a once-recognizable town transformed by an unknown evil,” the official synopsis reads. “While James desperately searches for Mary, he encounters terrifying creatures and begins to unravel the mystery of what happened to the town. But as he descends deeper into the darkness, the secrets he uncovers lead to a horrifying truth, and James finds himself struggling to hold on long enough to save his one true love.”
Christophe Gans, who helmed the first Silent Hill movie, is the director and co-writer of Return to Silent Hill. Producers include Victor Hadida of Davis Films and Molly Hassell of Hassell Free Productions. Akira Yamaoka, the composer for the game, composed the soundtrack.
