
Thunderbolts* Digital, 4K, & Blu-ray Release Dates Set, Cover Reveals Twist
Marvel Studios has finally announced the Thunderbolts* digital, 4K, Blu-ray, and DVD release dates for its newest superhero movie starring Academy Award nominees Sebastian Stan and Florence Pugh. Since its debut, the movie has garnered positive reviews from both critics and audiences. It currently holds a Certified Fresh rating of 88% on Rotten Tomatoes based on 345 reviews.
The studio has also unveiled the cover art for each of its digital, 4K, Blu-ray, and DVD releases, including the limited-edition SteelBook. All of the covers unveiled the movie’s title twist, confirming that the titular anti-hero team will be known as The New Avengers.
When is the Thunderbolts* digital, 4K, Blu-ray, & DVD release dates?
Thunderbolts* will be available to rent or own on digital platforms starting on July 1. This will be followed by the 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD release on July 29. For collectors, you can also get the 4K Ultra HD edition in a limited-edition SteelBook, which will include custom artwork and premium packaging. In addition, Walmart is releasing a U.S. exclusive pop-up Blu-ray package.

The film was directed by Jake Schreier from a screenplay written by Lee Sung Jin, based on the first draft by Eric Pearson.
