Thunderbolts*: Taskmaster Gets Darker Look in Concept Art
New concept art for Marvel Studios’ Thunderbolts* has made its way online, showing off a different look for Olga Kurylenko’s Taskmaster.
What does the new Taskmaster concept art show?
In a recent post on Instagram, artist Aleski Briclot showed off a new look at Taskmaster in some early concept art for the movie. According to Briclot, the alternate take on the character was inspired by giving them a black ops look.
“On this one, I’ve started from her previous look, tried to keep some elements of hints (shapes, dynamic lines…) and I was going for a darker BlackOps,” wrote Briclot. “Trying to catch the good visual vibe for the movie after reading the script.”

“Marvel Studios assembles an unconventional team of antiheroes—Yelena Belova, Bucky Barnes, Red Guardian, Ghost, Taskmaster, and John Walker,” the official synopsis for Thunderbolts* reads. “After finding themselves ensnared in a death trap set by Valentina Allegra de Fontaine, these disillusioned castoffs must embark on a dangerous mission that will force them to confront the darkest corners of their pasts. Will this dysfunctional group tear themselves apart, or find redemption and unite as something much more before it’s too late?”
Thunderbolts* is currently playing in U.S. theaters.
