
Hurry Up Tomorrow Digital Release Date Set for The Weeknd & Jenna Ortega Movie
Lionsgate has announced the Hurry Up Tomorrow digital release date for its newest psychological thriller, starring Abel Tesfaye aka The Weeknd and Golden Globe nominee Jenna Ortega (Wednesday). This comes after more than two weeks since the movie was first released in theaters.
“A musician plagued by insomnia is pulled into an odyssey with a stranger who begins to unravel the very core of his existence,” reads the official synopsis.
When is the Hurry Up Tomorrow digital release?
Hurry Up Tomorrow will be available to rent (for $19.99 for a 48-hour period) or buy (for $24.99) on digital platforms starting this Friday, June 6. Since making its debut, the movie has received overwhelmingly negative responses from critics. It currently holds a Tomatometer rating of 14% on Rotten Tomatoes.
The movie was directed by Trey Edward Shults, who co-wrote the screenplay with Tesfaye and Reza Fahim. The cast also included Barry Keoghan as Lee, Riley Keough, Metro Boomin, Gaspard Augé, Xavier de Rosnay, and more. It was produced by Tesfaye, Fahim, Kevin Turen, and Harrison Kreis.
Ortega was most recently seen in the Death of a Unicorn movie with Paul Rudd. She is currently attached to star in several projects, including: Taika Waititi’s film adaptation of Klara and the Sun with Amy Adams and Natasha Lyonne; the untitled J.J. Abrams movie with Glen Powell; the thriller drama The Gallerist with Natalie Portman; and David O. Russell’s pool hustler movie with Robert De Niro. She is also set to reprise her fan-favorite role in Netflix’s long-awaited second season of Wednesday.
