Karen Gillan Reveals if We Can Expect Nebula in Avengers: Endgame
Karen Gillan has recently opened up about what the future might hold for Nebula, and whether or not she’d ever return to the character in the MCU.
What did Karen Gillan say about Avengers: Endgame?
Speaking to MovieWeb in a recent interview, Gillan was asked if she’d ever consider returning to the world of Marvel after having starred in various movies over the last decade. Gillan played coy, praising how fun it is to be in those kinds of movies, but refusing to confirm or rule out any involvement in the future.
“It’s so much fun working in the Marvel world… in terms of the future, can’t say anything,” Gillan said. “You know how it goes, but maybe… never say, never.”
Gillan debuted as Nebula, one of the daughters of Thanos, in 2014’s Guardians of the Galaxy. Over the course of 10 years, Gillan has appeared in six total MCU movies, with her last appearance being in 2023’s Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.

Currently, it’s unclear whether or not Gillan will appear in any future projects. However, Marvel Studios seems keen on including as many returning heroes as possible for the upcoming Avengers: Doomsday, so it’s possible that Gillan could return in some fashion.
