Jackrabbit Media released the first trailer for The Jurassic Games: Extinction, a new film about a group of death row inmates trying to fight off virtual dinosaurs.

The Jurassic Games: Extinction trailer takes place in an alternate world, where a popular TV show pits 10 death row inmates in a virtual reality game where they fight against dinosaurs in order to survive. However, things quickly go south for the latest season.

The Jurassic Games: Extinction is set to release on June 24, 2025, on VOD and digital, and a month later, on July 22, 2025, on Blu-ray.

The Jurassic Games: Extinction is written and directed by Ryan Bellgardt. The film stars Katie Burgess, Adam Hampton, Leila Anastasia Scott, Sophie Proctor, and Ryan Francis. Ryan Bellgardt, Emily Taylor, and Harry C. Wolohon IV are producers on the project.

“In the near future, The Jurassic Games is the most popular television show in the world,” reads the film’s official synopsis. “Every season, 10 death row inmates play a highly advanced virtual reality game pitting them against ferocious dinosaurs in a fight for survival. This season, new host Joy LaFort (Katie Burgess) is about to make her debut when the game suddenly takes on a life of its own. Filled with dinosaur action, The Jurassic Games: Extinction is the follow up to 2018’s The Jurassic Games.”
