Avengers: Doomsday Cast Possibly Adds 2 Black Panther: Wakanda Forever Characters
Photos circulating online seem to hint that the cast of the upcoming Avengers: Doomsday will include two actors who weren’t previously announced. Mabel Cadena and Alex Livinalli essayed the roles of Namora and Attuma in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, respectively. They were spotted alongside confirmed members of the Doomsday cast in the Middle East, leading to speculation that Namora and Attuma are indeed part of the Doomsday plot.
Why Attuma and Namora actors could return in Avengers: Doomsday’s cast
Anthony Mackie (Sam Wilson), Tenoch Huerta (Namor), Letitia Wright (Shuri), Simu Liu (Shang-Chi), Winston Duke (M’Baku), and other confirmed cast members of Avengers: Doomsday were recently spotted in Bahrain, where production is either ongoing or will soon commence. Cadena and Livinalli were also seen in Bahrain alongside these actors, making fans wonder whether they are also part of the cast of the highly anticipated feature.
Notably, neither was on the list of actors announced as part of the Doomsday cast in March 2025. However, Marvel boss Kevin Feige did mention soon after that the Doomsday cast wasn’t yet complete.
So, it makes sense that as production goes on, we will learn about more members. Further, Tenoch Huerta Mejía, who played Namor in Wakanda Forever, was on the aforementioned list. It stands to reason that Namor’s trusted compatriots and relatives will also be in Doomsday.
In late April 2025, Joe and Anthony Russo, the writers and directors of Doomsday, confirmed on social media that filming for the movie had begun. Besides the above-mentioned actors, the cast also includes Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm / Invisible Woman, Paul Rudd as Scott Lang / Ant-Man, Robert Downey Jr. as Victor von Doom / Doctor Doom, Pedro Pascal as Reed Richards / Mister Fantastic, Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova, Lewis Pullman as Bob Reynolds / Sentry, and Tom Hiddleston as Loki.
Avengers: Doomsday will premiere in US theaters on December 18, 2026.
