Hugh Jackman Talks Avengers: Doomsday, Wolverine Would ‘Dominate & Destroy’

Academy Award-nominated actor Hugh Jackman has finally broken his silence regarding the recent rumors about his potential appearance in Avengers: Doomsday. This comes after it has been confirmed that his former X-Men co-stars Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, Kelsey Grammer, James Marsden, Alan Cumming, and Rebecca Romijn will be reprising their iconic roles in the highly-anticipated movie.

Avengers: Doomsday is being directed by Avengers: Endgame filmmakers Joe and Anthony Russo from a screenplay written by Stephen McFeely. The latest installment will feature Oscar winner Robert Downey Jr. as he signs on for the role of Victor von Doom/Doctor Doom. The ensemble cast will also include Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Joseph Quinn, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Chris Hemsworth, Paul Rudd, Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie, Florence Pugh, Letitia Wright, Tenoch Huerta Mejia, Kelsey Grammer, Lewis Pullman, David Harbour, Wyatt Russell, Danny Ramirez, and more.

During a recent appearance at The View, Jackman was asked about his rumored involvement in Avengers: Doomsday. The Wolverine actor didn’t deny nor confirm that he would be joining the already stacked cast of the next Avengers movie.

“I really can’t say much. Except, when you say ‘appear,’ more like dominate and destroy every other char– I’m kidding,” Jackman joked. “And it becomes a one-man show!”

He continued, “No, I really have nothing to add. And if I did, I would find a really cool way to not say it, but I actually have nothing to add. So that was uncool. But thanks for asking!”
