A new trailer for The Fantastic Four: First Steps has been released.
The Fantastic Four: First Steps is a new MCU movie hitting United States theaters this coming July. The cast of the movie includes Pedro Pascal as Reed Richards/Mister Fantastic, Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm/Invisible Woman, Joseph Quinn as Johnny Storm/Human Torch, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Ben Grimm/The Thing.

What happens in The Fantastic Four: First Steps trailer?
The Fantastic Four: First Steps trailer offers fans some new footage of Marvel’s First Family, all of whom are living in a 1960s-inspired but futuristic world. Ralph Ineson is playing Galactus in the film, while Julia Garner stars as Shalla-Bal/Silver Surfer. The cast further includes Paul Walter Hauser, John Malkovich, Natasha Lyonne, and Sarah Niles.
The movie is directed by Matt Shakman, who previously worked on WandaVision for Marvel Studios. Shakman directed the 2014 movie Cut Bank with Liam Hemsworth and Malkovich, while he’s also helmed episodes of Six Feet Under, Everyone Hates Chris, Psych, House M.D., It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Ugly Betty, Mad Men, The Good Wife, Fargo, Game of Thrones, Succession, The Boys, Monarch: Legacy of Monsters, and more.
Kevin Feige produces The Fantastic Four: First Steps, while Louis D’Esposito, Grant Curtis, and Tim Lewis serve as executive producers. Mitch Bell serves as co-producer, while the music comes from Michael Giacchino.
It was recently announced that Pascal, Kirby, Quinn, and Moss-Bachrach will all officially return for Avengers: Doomsday, which will be in May 2026. Whether or not Robert Downey Jr.’s Victor Von Doom shows up in First Steps, given that Doctor Doom is one of the Fantastic Four’s main antagonists in the comics, remains to be seen.
Marvel’s The Fantastic Four: First Steps will be released in United States theaters on July 25, 2025.
