Photos showing what appeared to be Jason Momoa‘s Lobo on the set of Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow have been confirmed to be fake and made with AI. In the past few days, superhero fans got a look at the images appearing to be from the set of the upcoming DC movie, which also included snaps of Momoa’s Lobo. The Aquaman actor will play the role of Lobo alongside Milly Alcock, who is taking on the role of Supergirl.

The news was reported by an account named DC Film News in a recent post on X (formerly Twitter). The user shared, “Facebook user admits the viral Jason Momoa LOBO set photos were generated through ChatGPT.”

DC Film News also shared the Facebook user’s post confirming that the image was fake, and also a clip of the user using a prompt to generate Momoa’s image from ChatGPT.

The image went viral across social media recently and immediately started a debate about whether it was legit. In the photo, Momoa as Lobo can be seen on a motorcycle. In the comics, Lobo rides a motorcycle named Spacehog, which is different from the one shown in the image, as it does not have any wheels.

Prior to that, a clip also made its way to the internet, in which Alcock’s Supergirl was seen alongside a figure who appeared to have a similar build to Momoa. In the clip, the person presumed to be Momoa could be seen standing atop an armoured vehicle with Alcock while holding an axe. In the comic books, however, Lobo uses a different weapon, which is called the Chained Hook.
