Supergirl Fans Are Confused About Jason Momoa’s Lobo ‘Set Photos’
Photos of what appears to be Jason Momoa as Lobo, reportedly from the set of Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow, are circulating online, and fans are wondering whether they are real. The main issue is seemingly the look of the interstellar mercenary and bounty hunter’s motorcycle. In the comics, Lobo rides SpazzFrag 666, a motorcycle-shaped vehicle on which he traverses across the stars. In contrast, Lobo’s motorcycle in these photos seems rather earthly and vintage.

Fans are debating whether the images purportedly showing Jason Momoa’s Lobo from the set of Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow are fake. Besides the motorcycle part, some X (formerly Twitter) users are pointing out that one of the images looks quite unusual for a real photo. One of the users who shared the images on the platform did so with the following caption: “Rumored photo of Jason Momoa as LOBO from the set of ‘SUPERGIRL: Woman of Tomorrow.’ Not confirmed to be legitimate so take this lightly.”
Another user, @JonMorrisonian, observed in the comment section of @DCUHypeGuy’s post that “it’s awfully convenient that these two pictures from wildly different angles and distances show Jason at the same angle doing the same post with the bike being angled the same way.” They added that they were not saying that both images were fake, but one likely was.
The opinion that one or both of these photos are fake seems to be held by many, though some fans do believe that they might be real.
Meanwhile, @UnBoxPHDFILM shared a different image that they claim is of Milly Alcock’s Supergirl and Lobo “on set.”
However, this image has also drawn its share of skeptics, who, interestingly, are not doubting the legitimacy of the image but whether it is actually Lobo in the photo. @FahimMia01 wrote in @UnBoxPHDFILM’s comment section, “His skin looks white. So thats not lobo.”
Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow is currently in production and will come out in U.S. theaters on June 26, 2026.
