The video introduces Pike and Rhys as frantic parents, who are desparately trying to reach their daughter after she accidentally killed someone on the road. As they try to come up with ways on how to protect her and cover up her crime, a mysterious stranger suddenly arrives, making their situation much more complicated.
Hallow Road is directed by Babak Anvari (Under the Shadow) from a screenplay written by William Gillies. The cast also includes Megan McDonnell as Alice, Stephen Jones as the detective, and Paul Tylark as an officer. The film is produced by Lucan Toh of Two & Two Pictures, Ian Henry of London Film & TV, and Richard Bolger of Hail Mary Pictures, with XYZ Films and Screen Ireland serving as financiers.
“Two parents receive a distressing late-night call from their teenage daughter, who has just accidentally hit a pedestrian. They jump in their car, racing to get there before anyone else stumbles across the scene,” reads the official synopsis (via The Playlist). “As they head deeper into the night, disturbing revelations threaten to tear the family apart as they soon realize they might not be the only ones driving down Hallow Road.”
