Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow: Milly Alcock’s Costume Revealed in Set Photos

DC Studios unveiled the first on-set images of Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow, revealing Milly Alcock’s suit as the Girl of Steel. The photos, taken during filming in London, highlight her comic-accurate suit. They also hint at a major confrontation with a mysterious opponent.

As filming continues in London, images captured by @UnBoxPHDFILM show Alcock standing atop what appears to be an armored vehicle, wearing a comic-accurate suit featuring long blue sleeves, a gold belt, a red skirt, and red boots. A short cape is also visible, which may be extended using CGI in the final version.

Additional footage appears to show Supergirl in a face-off with an unidentified character. The individual, possibly Jason Momoa as Lobo, is a large, pale-skinned figure with long dark hair and a battleaxe. DCU Superman News and other outlets shared the video on April 11, 2025, but the identity of the character remains unconfirmed due to the image quality.

James Gunn referred to the project as “Supergirl” in a recent post. This raised speculation that the original subtitle, “Woman of Tomorrow,” may have been dropped. However, this change has not been officially confirmed. Gunn also stated that this version of Supergirl is based on Tom King’s 2022 comic and is “much more hardcore,” having survived traumatic events before arriving on Earth.

The suit design appears consistent with Bilquis Evely’s artwork from the Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow comic series. The film will also feature Eve Ridley as Ruthye Mary Knolle, Matthias Schoenaerts as Krem, and Jason Momoa as Lobo. David Krumholtz and Emily Beecham will portray Kara’s parents, Zor-El and Alura.

According to Warner Bros., Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow is scheduled for release on June 26, 2026. The story follows Kara as she travels across the galaxy to celebrate her 21st birthday with Krypto the Superdog and becomes involved in a quest for revenge alongside Ruthye.
