A Goofy Movie Cast Reunite for 30th Anniversary, Disney+ Doc Gets Trailer
Disney has brought together the two leading stars of A Goofy Movie cast in a new video for the classic animated movie’s 30th anniversary. In addition, the studio has also announced the released of the Disney+ documentary titled, Not Just a Goof, which provides fans with a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the 1995 comedy adventure.
The original movie was directed by Kevin Lima from a screenplay written by Jymm Magon, Chris Mattheson, and Brian Pimental. It featured the voices of Bill Farmer as Goofy, Jason Marsden as Max, Jim Cummings as Pete, Kellie Martin as Roxanne, Rob Paulsen as P.J., and more. Despite initially receiving mixed reviews from critics, the movie still went on to become a cult classic favorite for Disney fans.

A Goofy Movie cast reflects on the iconic animated movie
The 30th anniversary video features Farmer and Marsden going for a drive in a reimagined AMC Pacer, which is similar to Goofy’s yellow car in the 1995 movie. Farmer and Marsden reflected on their experiences making the movie, as well as it long-lasting legacy and impact. In addition, they also revealed their favorite scenes from the film.

The Not Just a Goof documentary is now available for streaming on Disney+. It follows the untold story of a young creative team tackling their first Disney feature. It will include key interviews and rare archival footage, as it explores the struggles, victories, and studio dynamics that shaped the movie.
