M3GAN 2.0 Trailer Tells You to ‘Hold On To Your Vaginas’

The first M3GAN 2.0 trailer has been released, and it’s about as glorious as fans of the first movie could hope for.

M3GAN was released in United States theaters in January 2022. The Universal Pictures and Blumhouse Productions movie quickly became a hit, making $181 million at the global box office off an estimated $12 million budget.

M3GAN 2.0 is now scheduled to arrive this coming June. The cast of the movie includes Allison Williams as Gemma, Violet McGraw as Cady, Brian Jordan Alvarez as Cole, Amie Donald as M3GAN, and Jenna Davis as the voice of M3GAN.

What happens in the M3GAN 2.0 trailer?

The M3GAN 2.0 trailer reunites audiences with Gemma and Cady two years after the events of the first movie. The technology that created M3GAN has now been stolen and used to create a new weapon, Amelia (Ivanna Sakhno), who goes rogue and then tries to kill anyone connected to her creation. In order to defend themselves against Amelia, Gemma and Cady bring M3GAN back online and give her a new body. 

The trailer, which features Britney Spears’ “Oops!… I Did It Again,” ends with M3GAN telling everyone to “hold onto your vaginas,” while she later humorously tries to make a deal with Amelia to save Cady in exchange for Gemma’s life.

The movie is directed by Gerard Johnston, who also helmed the first movie. The cast further includes Jen Van Epps, Aristotle Athari, Timm Sharp, and Jemaine Clement. James Wan, Jason Blum, and Williams serve as producers, while Johnstone, Adam Hendricks, Greg Gilreath, Michael Clear, Judson Scott, and Mark D. Katchur serve as executive producers.

M3GAN 2.0 will be released in United States theaters on June 27, 2025, from Universal Pictures. A spin-off movie titled SOULM8TE is also in the works and dated for January 2, 2026.
