Fantastic Four: First Steps’ Popcorn Bucket Is The Thing’s Giant Head
The latest MCU popcorn bucket, which is based on the upcoming movie The Fantastic Four: First Steps‘ character The Thing, has finally been unveiled. Popcorn buckets are a popular way of promoting films. Previously, Marvel Studios’ popcorn buckets for Anthony Mackie’s Captain America: Brave New World and Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman’s Deadpool & Wolverine became a huge sensation among MCU fans.
The Thing’s head opens in The Fantastic Four: First Steps’ popcorn bucket
The official popcorn bucket for Ben Grimm, also known as The Thing, played by Ebon Moss-Bachrach in The Fantastic Four: First Steps, was recently revealed at CinemaCon.
The first look of the bucket was posted on X (formerly Twitter), which caught the attention of many users online. The unique merch carried the MCU character’s usual facial expression and rocky texture.
The popcorn bucket also has a detachable top, which allows fans to remove it and enjoy their popcorn from inside Grimm’s skull. A user reacted to the design of the popcorn bucket, writing, “This thing looks great.”
Another fan wrote, “Looks like he just took his mugshot.”
Could The Fantastic Four: First Steps launch popcorn buckets for other members?
After the popcorn bucket for Ben Grimm was revealed, fans are speculating that other Fantastic Four characters may also have their own buckets. Apart from Bachrach’s The Thing, the movie also features Pedro Pascal as Mr. Fantastic, Joseph Quinn as Human Torch, and Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm.
Fans believe that other members of Marvel’s First Family will have buckets resembling their powers. Some fan-made concept arts for the popcorn buckets were shared by @Bosslogic on X almost two months back.
In these images, Mr Fantastic’s bucket resembled a blue and white colored stretched arm; Human Torch’s bucket resembled a fire extinguisher, while Sue Storm’s bucket was transparent with a logo on it.
