Marvel Fans Theorize How 6 Avengers Movie Logos Match the Infinity Stones
Fans recently found a connection between the logo for Avengers: Doomsday and the Infinity Stones and believe that this could point to a key plot detail.
The logo for Avengers: Doomsday was unveiled recently in a live stream by Marvel. In the same stream, the studio revealed the huge cast of the movie, which fans speculate will grow by the time Doomsday comes out.
Avengers: Doomsday’s plot may have been teased with its logo and 6 Infinity Stones
Recently, a user on X (formerly Twitter) named @MasterTainment posted a theory about the Avengers movie logos and the Infinity Stones, the powerful gems that Thanos collected to use with his gauntlet to wipe out half of the universe in Avengers: Infinity War.
The user stated that they noticed how each logo matched the color of each Infinity Stone and suggested that “Marvel Studios has modelled the entire MCU after the Infinity Stones.” They further began to explain the connection between the logos and the Infinity Stones.
They wrote, “It would seem like each of these logos correspond to the Infinity Energy that triggered the threat to Earth. Avengers 1 – Tesseract brings Loki to Earth. Age of Ultron – Wanda’s Chaos Reality Singularity powers cause Tony to be fearful enough to use the Mind Stone to create Ultron. Infinity War – Thanos sends army to Earth to get Vision’s Mind Stone. Endgame – Good Nebula’s trip to get the Power Stone causes Bad Thanos to learn of the Avengers’ Time Heist.”
Similarly, the user states that Doctor Strange might play an important role in Doomsday, as the logo resembles the color of the Time Stone. But Benedict Cumberbatch, who plays Doctor Strange in the MCU, wasn’t announced in the Doomsday cast livestream.
MasterTainment drew a connection between Avengers: Secret Wars and the Soul Stone and wrote, “Secret Wars – Soul Stone saves everyone’s Souls? Who knows? Too early to tell.”
Additionally, another user named @4KMarvelShots echoed similar thoughts and posted, “Did Marvel plan the Avengers logos to match the Infinity Stones, or is it a coincidence?”
However, a lot of fans in the comments felt it was a coincidence, as Doomsday had a blue-colored logo before when it was Avengers: The Kang Dynasty.
