Hugh Jackman Looks Unrecognizable in The Death of Robin Hood Set Video

Hugh Jackman looks completely unrecognizable in a new video taken from the set of A24’s The Death of Robin Hood.

Jackman is playing the titular character in The Death of Robin Hood, which is written and directed by Michael Sarnoski. Sarnoski made his feature film directorial debut in 2021 with Pig starring Nicolas Cage, while his second feature film was 2024’s A Quiet Place: Day One with Lupita Nyong’o and Joseph Quinn.

On Instagram, Jackman shared a video of him in the makeup chair for The Death of Robin Hood. This gives fans their first look at Jackman’s character, who sports a glorious mustache, in the film.

“There is a depth, a camaraderie, and a spirit to the entire cast and crew of The Death of Robin Hood,” Jackman wrote. “Thank you for this wonderful experience. It is an honor and a privilege. Thank you, Ireland!!! Your beauty knows no bounds.”
