Gigi Hadid Praises ‘Very Romantic’ Bradley Cooper, Talks Relationship

Gigi Hadid and Bradley Cooper have been dating for more than a year, and in a recent interview, Hadid opened up about her relationship and just how romantic Cooper is.

Speaking to Vogue in a recent profile, Hadid praised Cooper for being a “very romantic” partner whom she met at a backyard birthday party for the child of a mutual friend. Hadid noted that she was looking for a “normal experience of dating” when the pair met, which can be tough given their celebrity status.

“You want to give yourself a normal experience of dating,” Hadid said. “And even for my friends who aren’t public figures, that’s hard. Where do you go? And, what? You just start talking to people? And then there’s another added layer of privacy and security. You want to believe that people are going to have your back and not call TMZ or go on Deuxmoi or whatever, but you just don’t know.”

Despite their fame, Hadid notes that she still wants to keep parts of their relationship a secret, noting that “it’s just not part of our relationship to share for whatever reason.” Hadid also knows that clickbait stories and other reports on their relationship will be written about them and that the information will either be “kind of right and kind of wrong,” but the pair knows they have to just let it go when it happens.

Hadid also noted that the kinda of relationship she has with Cooper now isn’t something that might’ve happened earlier in her life and that both partners are in a place in their life where they know what they want.

“I think just getting to the point where knowing what you want and deserve in a relationship is essential,” she said. “And then to find someone that is in a place in their life where they know what they want and deserve…and you both do work separately to come together and be the best partner that you can be. I just feel really lucky. Yeah, lucky’s the word.

“I respect him so much as a creative,” she continues, “and I feel that he gives so much to me: encouragement and, just, belief. For those people you admire to encourage you, it can create so much belief in yourself. Like, what’s the worst thing if I auditioned for this? You jump and take the leap.”
