Box Office Results: Flight Risk Overthrows Mufasa, The Brutalist Cracks Domestic Top 10

The Mark Wahlberg-starring Flight Risk won the box office this past weekend in the United States.

Flight Risk opened in theaters nationwide this past Friday. Over the course of the three-day weekend, the movie made approximately $12 million. Mufasa: The Lion King came in second with $8.7 million, while Steven Soderbergh’s Presence took sixth with $4.3 million during its first weekend.

A24’s The Brutalist also cracked the top ten as the movie expanded into more theaters following its Best Picture Oscar nomination, per Deadline, while One of Them Days took third place in its second week of release with an additional $8 million.
