Exclusive Giallofest 2024 Trailer Celebrates History of Classic Italian Genre

ComingSoon is debuting an exclusive trailer for Giallofest 2024, the first annual streaming film festival from IndiePix Unlimited.

When is Giallofest 2024?

To celebrate the cult classic genre, IndiePix Unlimited on Prime Video Channels will host the streaming festival with seven iconic films of the genre, available to stream beginning on December 13, 2024.

The movies involved in the festival include:

• So Sweet, So Perverse (1969)
• The Psychic (1977)
• Tenebrae (1982)

As its name suggests, Giallofest 2024 will celebrate the Italian Giallo genre, a genre of murder mysteries that was prominent throughout the 1960s-70s. The genre is best known for blending the atmosphere and suspense of thrillers with elements of horror and eroticism.

Movies like Torso, Deep Red, Blow Out, Suspiria, and more all fit under the giallo umbrella, with directors like Silvio Amadio, Dario Argento, Mario Bava, and Luigi Bazzoni among some of the most famous filmmakers to have made movies in the genre.

IndiePix Unlimited is a distributor of independent films based in New York City. Currently, the company has a Prime Video Channel that fans can subscribe to in order to access a wide variety of films. The subscription is available for $5.99 a month.
