Sonic the Hedgehog 3 Posters Homage Christmas Vacation, Love Actually, & Home Alone
New Sonic the Hedgehog 3 posters homage several beloved holiday movies, including National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation, Love Actually, and Home Alone.
Sonic the Hedgehog 3 will be released in United States theaters later this month. Ben Schwartz returns to voice the titular character, while Jim Carrey is also reprising his role as Dr. Ivo Robotnik. Additionally, Carrey is playing Ivo’s grandfather, Gerald Robotnik, in the film.
On X, a number of new Sonic the Hedgehog 3 posters have been shared. The poster shared by CinemaBlend sees Carrey recreate the iconic Christmas Vacation poster featuring Chevy Chase, while Fandango released one that nods to the charming holiday rom-com Love Actually.
The poster shared by the Sonic the Hedgehog account, meanwhile, references Home Alone; only, this time, Ivo and Gerald are the Wet Bandits trying to terrorize Sonic.
