Willem Dafoe Introduces the Titular Vampire in Nosferatu Clip
Focus Features has revealed a new Nosferatu clip from the forthcoming supernatural thriller remake of 1922’s classic gothic movie of the same name.
“The film is a gothic tale of obsession between a haunted young woman and the terrifying vampire infatuated with her, causing untold horror in its wake,” reads the film’s official synopsis.

What happens in the Nosferatu clip?
The video features Willem Dafoe as Prof. Albin Eberhart Von Franz as he gives Aaron Taylor-Johnson‘s Friedrich Harding some information about the true nature of their enemy. The ensemble cast will also include Bill Skarsgård as Count Orlok, Nicholas Hoult as Thomas Hutter, Lily-Rose Depp as Ellen Hutter, Emma Corrin as Anna Harding, Ralph Ineson as Dr. Wilhelm Sievers, and Simon McBurney as Herr Knock.
The Nosferatu remake is written and directed by Robert Eggers, who’s returning to the horror genre after nearly a decade since the theatrical release of his feature-length directorial debut movie The Witch. The film is produced by Eggers, Jeff Robinov, John Graham, Chris Columbus, and Eleanor Columbus.
The film is slated to arrive in theaters on December 25, 2025. It will also be debuting in the same month as other high-profile movies such as New Line’s animated fantasy The Lord of the Rings: The War of the Rohirrim, Sony’s Spider-Man spin-off Kraven the Hunter, Paramount Pictures’ newest sequel Sonic the Hedgehog 3, Barry Jenkins’ prequel Mufasa: The Lion King, and Searchlight Pictures’ Bob Dylan biopic A Complete Unknown.
