Conclave 4K, Blu-ray, & Digital Release Dates Set for Pope Drama
Universal Pictures has revealed the Conclave 4K, Blu-ray, and digital release dates for the recently released religious thriller.
When is the Conclave 4K, Blu-ray, and digital release dates?
First up, the Conclave digital release has been set for November 26, 2024, where it will be available across various digital platforms. Next up, the Conclave Blu-ray and DVD release date is set for December 17, 2024. Meanwhile, the Conclave 4K UHD will release on February 11, 2025.
Conclave’s release will also launch with never-before-seen extras, including interviews with the cast and filmmakers, but only if people purchase the film from participating retailers nationwide including Apple TV, Fandango at Home (formerly Vudu), Comcast Xfinity, Cox, Google/YouTube, Microsoft Movies & TV, and Movies Anywhere.
The list of extras available exclusively include:
- Sequestered: Inside Conclave – Enter the mysterious world of CONCLAVE with the cast and filmmakers for a behind-the-scenes look at what it took to raise the curtain on one of the most secretive and secluded processes in the world.

Conclave stars Ralph Fiennes as Thomas Cardinal Lawrence, the Dean of the College of Cardinals. Alongside Fiennes, Conclave also stars Stanley Tucci, John Lithgow, Carlos Diehz, Lucian Msamati, Brían F. O’Byrne, Merab Ninidze, Sergio Castellitto, and Isabella Rossellini.
“Conclave follows one of the world’s most secretive and ancient events – selecting a new Pope. Cardinal Lawrence (Ralph Fiennes) is tasked with running this covert process after the unexpected death of the beloved Pope,” reads the film’s official synopsis. “Once the Catholic Church’s most powerful leaders have gathered from around the world and are locked together in the Vatican halls, Lawrence finds himself at the center of a conspiracy and discovers a secret that could shake the very foundation of The Church.”
Conclave is directed by All Quiet on the Western Front’s Edward Berger from a screenplay written by Peter Straughan, based on Robert Harris’ best-selling novel. It is executive produced by Steven Rales, Glen Basner, Alison Cohen, Milan Popelka, Ben Browning, Len Blavatnik, Danny Cohen, Zoe Edwards, Harry Dixon, Paul Randle, Tomas Alfredson, Edward Berger, Ralph Fiennes, Peter Straughan, Robyn Slovo, Mario Gianani, and Lorenzo Gangarossa.
