What happens in the Moonwater trailer?
The trailer for Moonwater details the journey of a reclusive alcoholic who ventures into the woods with his brother to try and find his father’s moonshine still and make one last batch.
Moonwater is set to have its world premiere at the Dances With Films independent film festival on December 8, 2024, in New York City. Tickets for the event are available now.

Moonwater is written and directed by William Tyler Wiseman. The film is produced by Michael Goldberg, Mark Wiseman, Natalie Paige Goldberg, Liz Meinders, LJ Duey, and Lisa Mamazza. The main cast for the film features Matthew Wayne Roberts, Michael Lee Joplin, Liz Meinders, and Dannica Terry.
Wiseman also directed a short film of the same name, in which an alcoholic working to get back on his feet teaches his niece about moonshining, which is a lost family tradition.
“A reclusive alcoholic discovers his late father’s old dilapidated moonshine still deep in the woods and sets out to revive it for one final batch, reconnecting with his brother and his father’s legacy in the process,” reads the film’s official synopsis.
