Scarlett Johansson’s Elita-1 Takes the Spotlight in Exclusive Transformers One Clip

ComingSoon is excited to debut an exclusive Transformers One clip featuring Scarlett Johansson from the 45+ minutes of special features of the home release. The acclaimed action-adventure movie is out today on digital platforms to either rent or own. It will then be released on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD on December 17.

“I think she’s a character that has a lot of integrity. She’s a born leader. She’s kind of a Type-A personality that’s a little bit of a control freak, so I’m not sure why Josh thought of me,” said Johansson of playing Elita-1. Co-star Keegan-Michael Key praised Johansson for bringing herself into the role and how tough she can be on camera.

What is Transformers One about?

“The film is the untold origin story of Optimus Prime and Megatron, better known as sworn enemies, but once were friends bonded like brothers who changed the fate of Cybertron forever,” reads the synopsis.

The first-ever fully CG-animated Transformers movie, Transformers One was directed by Josh Cooley from a screenplay written by Andrew Barer, Steve Desmond, Gabriel Ferrari, and Michael Sherman. It features the voices of Chris Hemsworth as Orion Pax/Optimus Prime, Brian Tyree Henry as D-16/Megatron, Keegan-Michael Key as Bumblebee, Scarlett Johansson as Elita, Jon Hamm as Sentinel Prime, Laurence Fishburne as Alpha Trion, and Steve Buscemi as Starscream.
