Exclusive Don Q Trailer Previews Modern-Day Take on a Classic Story

ComingSoon is debuting an exclusive Don Q trailer, previewing the upcoming film that takes the classic story of Don Quixote La Mancha and puts a modern-day spin on it.

What happens in the Don Q trailer?

The trailer for the film previews the life of Don Q, a resident of New York City’s Little Italy and someone who believes himself to be a powerful mafia figure. After an ex-con returns from prison, though, Don Q must try and fight to see the old ways return.

Don Q is directed by Claudio Bellante from a script co-written by Bellante and Michael Domino. The film stars Armand Assante, Saundra Santiago, Vincent Pastore, Chuck Zito, and Federico Castelluccio.

Don Q is set to release on November 1, 2024, and will be available on digital storefronts as well as on video-on-demand services.

“Feeding off decades of delusion, longtime Little Italy resident Don Q believes himself to be a powerful mafia figurehead set out to reclaim the neighborhood and its fleeting values,” reads the film’s official synopsis. “It isn’t until the return of a ruthless ex-con that Q’s fantasy is put to the test, landing the self-proclaimed Don and a loyal recruit in an ensuing turf war.”
