‘Prepare Yourself’: Man Of Tomorrow Star Teases Intense Ma & Pa Kent Return
Man of Tomorrow star Neva Howell is teasing an intense return of Ma & Pa Kent in the upcoming Superman movie. This comes after a fan recently praised her work and expressed excitement to see Howell and Pa Kent actor Pruitt Taylor Vince in the DC sequel.
X handle @moazikhlas commented, “Can’t wait to see you and Pa in Man of Tomorrow :D” Responding to that comment, Howell replied from her X handle @NevaHowell1000, “Thank you. Prepare yourself! Intensity incoming next July.”
The 70-year-old actress is set to return as Martha Kent alongside the 66-year-old actor, who plays Jon Kent, the mother and father of Clark Kent, respectively. As she teased, fans might as well brace themselves for some really intense action next July with Man of Tomorrow.
Neva Howell’s Ma & Pa Kent tease comes as more details about Man of Tomorrow emerge
Howell’s tease about Ma & Pa Kent comes as more details about Man of Tomorrow emerge. According to recent updates on the upcoming Superman sequel (2025), David Corenswet’s Clark Kent will be more mature and deeper in James Gunn‘s DC Universe film Man of Tomorrow.
Talking with Entertainment Tonight, Corenswet teased that his Kal-El won’t be exactly the same hero we met in Superman. The actor said, “The character is a little more mature. They’re going to go a little bit deeper.” He also teased some “crazy stuff” coming in the sequel, including Lex Luthor’s War Suit, finally introduced and played by Nicholas Hoult.
In the sequel, Superman and Lex will have to team up to face a much greater threat, which is speculated to be the villain Brainiac (played by Lars Eidinger). As Gunn told Howard Stern recently, Man of Tomorrow is “as much a Lex movie as it is a Superman movie,” per Deadline.
Man of Tomorrow is currently scheduled to hit the theaters on July 9, 2027.
